Yes, it is secure. This was my first doll purchase. I liked that this doll looked good as both a blonde and brunette. Switching the wig really changes the look of the doll. The doll seems to be good quality. I was surprised how fast it came. I got the removable vagina which is really easy to clean. I chose this doll as it was a bit shorter which would save some weight but still had nice curves. In short, all is as expected, very satisfied.
